Petition: Don’t hold an Election Until 2010

"We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to Not Hold a General election before 2010".

"In order to have the time to fully implement its manifesto commitments and fulfil its electoral mandate the Prime Minister should consider waiting until 2010 before holding a general election".

In response to Tory spam on this blog (and others) to sign the Petition at the 10 Downing Street site calling for a “general election in 2007”, I have created the above petition. It was rejected once for being “political” and having “duplicates” so I have had to change it. It was approved this afternoon and so far it has one signature on it – Me!

and the answer to the question is no, I haven’t got anything better to do…..

Just like Gordon having to follow Cameron's policies you are now forced to follow me!...that's the problem with socialists..always taking something off someone else instead of creating anything for themselves.

Socialist are great fun!...first you tell everyone you met Gordon at Conference and he said prepare for an election..then you pretend he never planned to have an election (despite checking the Queen's agenda, booking advertising space, and recruiting volunters at an enlarged head office) ...and now you campaign to have the election in 2010...ha, ha, ha! Admit it he really fooled you!

Hi Anon
No we are not following Tory policies, we are just pointing out to the forces of darkness – Labour light and enlightenment!

The real problem is of course "not taking off someone" but making sure that the really rich greedy selfish “b*****ds” pay their fair share (nothing more, nothing less) in the first place!

Hi Anon

The World according to John.

You have got to realise that Gordon quite rightly recognises that the patriotic imperative of our country is to re-elect a Labour government in a fight with a serious political oppostion.

Obviously it would have been remiss of him not to consider an election last month. However, he decided that democracy would not be served by fighting an election with such a divided and disloyal opposition party. You guys were in such a mess. So, I am sure that he deliberately allowed “hints” at an election in order to make sure he has some sort of opposition when he finally decides to call an election.

The end result will still be the same. Don’t worry you will have another go in 2015!
